Network for New Music has been dedicated to commissioning and performing new musical works by emerging and established artists of all identities since 1985. We engage audiences with vibrant and thought-provoking musical experiences that challenge and inspire. We are committed to excellent performances, innovative curation, in-depth education programs and cross-genre collaborations, all with the purpose of enriching the cultural life of greater Philadelphia.
A very special way to ensure the future of Network for New Music is by making a legacy gift. By making a legacy gift of whatever amount feels right to you, your gift will become part of Network’s board-designated endowment fund, a responsible percentage of which supports our general operating expenses each year, including areas such as education support and student ticket program; “second listen” (opportunity for works to be played again); musicians’ salaries; commissioning fund, etc.
Planned Giving Options
Wills and Living Trusts
An easy and popular way to make a planned gift is to include Network for New Music in your will or trust. There are no minimum dollar requirements.
If you already have a will, adding a codicil – an amendment – is easy. Consult with your estate advisor for details and advice.
Sample language for leaving a bequest:
“I hereby bequeath to Network for New Music, a nonprofit corporation organized and operating under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the sum of $_______(or ___ percent of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate) to be used for the general purposes of Network for New Music.”
Or
“I give and devise to Network for New Music, Federal Tax Identification Number: 22-2629436, located in Philadelphia, PA the sum of _________ (or a percentage of the rest, residual and remainder of my estate, both real and personal) to be used for its general support.”

Gifts of Plans and Policies
IRAs and qualified retirement plans like 401(k)s or 403(b)s are some of the best assets to leave to charity. You may also designate Network for New Music as owner and/or beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Notify your plan or policy administrator of your intention and complete a “change of beneficiary” form.
TESTIMONIAL
“Network has made me feel part of the creative process: we are all hearing something new, at the same time, and that’s special. I wanted to do my part in “playing it forward,” to help ensure that the next generation will have the same listening experiences I have enjoyed. Network has earned my trust and commitment, so when we updated our wills recently, we included Network.”
