Vivian Fung’s premiere of her Network commissioned work Ominous Machine II for 2 pianos and 2 percussionists headlines our final concert of the season. Along with it are works for violin and piano by Fung and James Lee’s Lament.Sing.Arise. Pianist Dynasty Battles joins Network for a performance of Ted Hearne’s Study Buddy. and cellist Thomas Kraines premieres Richard Wernick’s Suite for Solo Cello No. 3. Network is incredibly proud to partner with the Wildflower Composers Camp - a program devoted to fostering young women and non-binary composers - by featuring alum Danity Pike’s Cassandra for clarinet, cello, and piano!
