Eric earned his Doctorate in Contemporary Music Performance from the University of California, San Diego in 2014. He served as the Administrative Assistant for the Fresh Sound Music Series in San Diego, was the Production Manager for the 2015 "Begin Anywhere" concert series in Philadelphia, and holds an Assistant Producer credit for Mode Records' "Save Percussion Theater" DVD (mode 242).

Eric is a percussionist and passionate educator committed to commissioning and presenting new works.  As a member of the percussion group Red Fish Blue Fish, Eric has performed in concerts at the LA Philharmonic's Green Umbrella Series, Miller Theatre (NYC), and the Ojai Music Festival, and alongside celebrated chamber ensembles Bang on a Can All-Stars and eighth blackbird.  With the International Contemporary Ensemble, Eric has appeared at the Mostly Mozart Festival, The Park Avenue Armory, and Spectrum (NYC). Eric has also played with innovative Chicago-based Ensemble Dal niente since 2007 with highlight performances at the Library of Congress and in Residence at Harvard University.

As an educator, Eric taught ear-training and designed a course on Experimental Practices in Popular Music at the UC San Diego and currently teaches percussion at Settlement Music School.
